The First $10K E-Commerce Roadmap: A Practical Guide for Founders

A numbers-first, 90-day playbook for taking a physical-product online store from idea to your first $10,000 in revenue, without guessing. It brings my measurement and growth background to first-time founders.

What you will learn

  • Validate demand with keyword research, competitor review mining and a low-cost smoke test before you buy inventory
  • Price from your real, fully loaded margins, and know your break-even ROAS and the traffic and ad spend your $10K goal needs
  • Build the store properly: domain, hosting and email, a click-by-click Shopify build, high-converting page structure and a brand kit
  • Set up GA4 e-commerce tracking and the Meta Conversions API correctly, and verify them before you spend
  • Launch and scale Meta and Google campaigns with a break-even target and a clear scaling rule
  • Build email and SMS flows, and measure honestly with MER and blended CAC instead of trusting platform ROAS alone
  • Run valid A/B tests with small traffic, plan inventory and seasonality, and know when to sell internationally, add channels or outsource
  • Stay compliant and visible: a five-minute consent test for your tracking, an accessibility quick check, SEO basics with Google Search Console, and clear rules for using AI tools responsibly

What you need to open the files

  • A PDF reader. Use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader for the fillable worksheets. Phone and browser previews often cannot fill in forms, and the amber boxes calculate automatically only in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Spreadsheet software for the calculators. Microsoft Excel, or a compatible program such as LibreOffice.
  • A word processor for the agreement and templates. Microsoft Word, or a compatible program such as Google Docs.
  • On a Kindle? Send the EPUB with Amazon’s Send to Kindle. Do not copy it to the device over USB.

Lifetime updates included

Every edition includes free updates. When I update the edition you bought, you get the new version at no extra charge for the lifetime of that edition, meaning for as long as I continue to offer it. I will email you a download link whenever an update is available.

Refund policy

Because the ebook, worksheets, calculators, templates and other files are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final and non-refundable once your purchase is complete and your download links are delivered. There are no returns or exchanges.

If you buy the same product twice by mistake or have a technical problem receiving your files, email [email protected] and I will work with you to fix it. For the full terms, including the license that comes with your purchase, read the Terms & Conditions.

Who it is for

  • First-time founders launching a physical-product online store
  • Side-hustlers who want a structured plan instead of scattered tutorials
  • Small teams who want shared definitions, benchmarks and worksheets

Who it is not for

Service, software or digital-product businesses, and anyone looking for guaranteed income or a get-rich-quick method. Results depend on product, market and execution. Dropshipping and print-on-demand stores can use most of the book but should expect thinner margins and slower shipping, and wholesale and physical retail are outside its scope.

Common questions

Do I need Shopify?

The step-by-step walkthroughs use Shopify, but the unit economics, testing, measurement and retention chapters apply on any platform. Appendix G maps the platform-specific steps to WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix and BigCommerce.

Is it legal, tax or financial advice?

No. It is educational. Always confirm legal, tax and financial decisions with qualified professionals.
